HIS ROLE MODEL IN AND OUT OF UBUNTU
“Neymar is the best player in the world,” said the right footer. He believes the Brazilian is selfless, caring and has style. He does not have a role model at the club at the moment ,but in the future Lyle hopes that one player in the academy will stand out to him.
WHAT HE DOES NOT LIKE ABOUT SCHOOL
Lyle made sure we knew that the Ubuntu school is different. He emphasized the fact that it allows the players to do what they love and still pursue an amazing education. However, the eager learner suggested that breaks be made longer as you need to have a good meal in order to make your brain function error free.

Lazola Maku #6
WHAT HE FEELS THE UBUNTU SCHOOL COULD WORK ON
The cheeky Lazola thinks that the school should introduce the concept of having girls. When the player was asked why, he said, "Girls make me focus more." Mr. Maku then made sure that the school was aware that there is no area for the boys to express themselves. "The players are in desperate need of a turf," announced the outspoken Lazola.
THE TEAM THAT HE SUPPORTS AND WHY
The midfielder stated that he is a proud Manchester City supporter. Lazola claims that there are many reasons why he is behind them all the way, but one of the main reasons is that they play great football. “They have the best front three,” said the young ubuntu student.
Imaad Moosgin #98
WHY HE ENJOYS BEING AT THE UBUNTU SCHOOL
The virtuous defender is grateful that he has the opportunity to be at the Ubuntu School. "We are here to become great leaders that will one day go back into our community and make a huge difference," Immad stated proudly. He also let the interviewer know that the school was one of a kind: it provides good teachers for education and well-structured training sessions that challenge them.
WHAT HE WOULD DO IF HIS ROLE MODEL WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM
Imaad's role models are Jesse Donne, who plays for our National first division side, and Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Juventus. The extraordinary left back said that he would be really rooted to the spot if he ever comes face-to-face with one of these professional footballers. If he could speak with them, he would ask if he has the potential to be as great as they are.
Tao Moatse #6
HOW IT FEELS TO BE PART OF THE UBUNTU FAMILY AND THOUGHTS OF BEING AT THE SCHOOL
"It feels amazing so far, but I have to be honest: I'm still trying to find my feet." He believes that being at this school is a great advantage to him because at his other school he did not focus. He is able to focus more because his own teammates push him to strive for the best. Tao feels that at his previous school, he had to battle with peer pressure more often than not, his friends were often doing the wrong thing, such as abusing harmful substances and not listening in class.
EXPLAINS WHAT HE WOULD DO IF AN UBUNTU PRO TEAM CONTRACT WAS OFFERED
"I would grab the opportunity with both hands," said Mr. Moatse. Tao said that he would play for Ubuntu but not for a long period of time. His dream is to play in Europe, "Go big or go home," is a motto that the midfielder values.
Siya Manchipa #93
HIS ROLE MODEL IN AND OUT OF UBUNTU
The tricky player vocalized that his role model is none other than the best player in the world, Lionel Messi. "He has an education, is skillful and is one of the most watched footballers," mentioned Siya. This youngster wants to make a difference globally, not just through his football but through his education as well.
WHAT HE DOES NOT LIKE ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The learner thinks that breaks are way too short. "If you want us to always give our best, teachers should allow us to have a break where we can actually sit down and enjoy our meal with our family," Siya says that the way to an athlete’s heart is a ball or food.
A wise man once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. This is a sentence that all of us can live by and it is one of the reasons why Ubuntu is providing the skill. Education is a tool that you can use to better yourself. With great knowledge comes great power and responsibility. Ubuntu is not just here to provide you with education but we are here to help you use it in the correct way. ‘I AM BECAUSE WE ARE’, everybody has a talent so why not use it to benefit the world.
