FAQs

We are currently looking for local, experienced (and ideally, qualified) volunteers in these specific roles:
Goalkeeper Coach
Physiotherapist
Administrative Support
If you are able to serve Ubuntu Football in any of these capacities, please email Coach Kris Bergman at kris@ubuntufootball.com

We don't usually have a set duration that people volunteer for.
OVERSEAS VOLUNTEERS:
Anyone can enter South Africa on a 90 visitor visa (obtained upon entering South Africa), but for those that want to volunteer for longer, you would be required to apply for a longer visa, and so the length of stay is usually dependent on receiving a visa. The majority of overseas volunteers stay with Ubuntu for 3 - 6 months.
LOCAL VOLUNTEERS:
Local volunteers usually volunteer their time for a shorter period of time or on specific days of the week, depending on their other commitments.
If you're interested in finding out more, please do reach out to us, and we'll get in touch.
